The Podium Magazine unveiled in Abuja amid pomp

The Podium Magazine was on Thursday unveiled in Abuja, making it the seventh public unveiling across the globe.

Tourism promotion guru, Aare Abiodun Odusanwo chaired the solemn occasion that held in the Tafawa Balewa Hall of Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja.

Aare Odusanwo said that the task of featuring achievements of Diasporic Nigerians and those Nigerian achievers at home which is before the publisher of The Podium magazine, Mr Ademola Akinbola and others was quite enormous.

According to him: “He needs our support for him to accomplish the goal he has set to achieve. The story of Nigerians should be told in a balanced way.

“The problem of Nigerians is our attitude to work. I thank Ademola for taking the lead to help to objectivey skew positive narratives in favour of Nigerians who are doing exploits in the world.”

Mr Ademola Adigun, Executive Vice President, Priceless Crafts Limited, gave an extempore tips on how to achieve success in business, stressing the importance of planning, focus, discipline and integrity.

The publisher Mr Akinbola told the compact audience of professionals that the Abuja unveiling was the seventh in the series of global process.

He said as a company, “we are determined to carve a niche for ourselves.

“We decided to document inspiring stories about Nigerians doing exploits in their various fields.”

He said the saying that if you cannot beat those who are doing thecwrong things, you had better join them was misplaced.

“You can beat them and not join them, by doing things differently,” he stated.

He said that The Podium magazine was a special magazine that focused on celebrating Nigerians both at home and in the Diaspora.

“The global unveiling is to get the magazine into the hands of as many as possible Nigerians globally.

“We are change agents. We have launched a platform to get people to do the right thing.

“We want people to recognise that what they are doing in their little circles is recognised, appreciated and celebrated.

“Talking about integrity, if you do not pass through the rigorous process of integrity, you are not likely to feature in The Podium.”

Ademola called on Nigerians bothbat home and on the Diaspora to partner with The Podium as well as subscribe for the magazine.
