▪Real Madrid could still sign the Frenchman this summer

The world is waiting to see if Real Madrid can finally secure the signing of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain after weeks of negotiations.
On Radio MARCA programme Marcador, we’ve taken a look at what some of our journalists think of this summer’s big transfer saga in Madrid.
“It all depends on Emir. Mbappe is now the best player in the world. If Mbappe stays I find it hard to believe that he’ll end up leaving for nothing,” commented Inaki Angulo.
“There haven’t been any negotiations or meeting with Emir. There have been with PSG, but Emir is the one who has to authorise the deal. Time is ticking on and the feeling is that Emir isn’t ready to work with Madrid,” said Miguel Angel Toribio.
Jose Felix Diaz says Madrid have done everything they can do reach an agreement and are waiting for PSG to decide.
“Real Madrid are trying and trying, but at the moment PSG aren’t giving them an answer. The key is PSG’s willingness. They have an offer of 180 million on the table. It’s about PSG and the player’s willingness;” he claimed.
“I don’t see Real Madrid paying more than 200 million. It’s a signing that could define a decade and change the recent history of football,” added Jorge Calabres (Radio MARCA)
