▪Implores sons and daughters to be united for progress and development

The newly-elected President of Asepo Omo Igbomina in Osun and Kwara States, Pastor Olalekan Osundina, has called on members of the inaugurated executive to work together and promote unity, progress and development of Igbomina land.
He stated this shortly after he took oath of office as the elected president of the Association.
The Oath was administered by the Assocition’s Legal Adviser, Barrister P.A. Olorunisola ,(SAN) at Igbonnibi Town Hall, Ila Orangun, venue of the programme on 22nd June, 2023.
Pastor Osundina took over from PA Adewara Toyin Lawal, the outgone President after the expiration of his tenure.
It would be recalled that the Asepo Omo Igbomina both in Osun and Kwara States is a socio-cultural Organization with the aim of promoting the peace, progress and unity in cooperation within the members and other ethnic groups of Nigeria.
The Asepo Omo Igbomina was established to champion, promote and project the educational, economic, industrial, social and cultural advancement and interest of Igbomina people as well as preserve their traditional and moral values.
In furtherance to this objectives, Pastor Osundina, the President of the Association, pleaded with members to sink their differences to move the Association forward for the progress of Igbomina Land.
He said: “Nobody has the Monopoly of Wisdom. In view of this members should come up with useful suggestions to achieve this lofty objectives”.
He commended the out going President and his team for their efforts during their tenure of office, adding that the new executive will continue to uplift the progress of Igbomina Land.
Pastor Osundina reiterated his commitment to the completion of the Association’s Secretariat at Ila Orangun while soliciting for the support of Sons and Daughters of Igbomina Land on the completion of the project.
The President promised to run an open administration, adding that the Igbomina Kwara will be receiving his team from time to time for support and to work the talk with a view to achieving greater heights within shortest possible time.
Members of the newly inaugurated Asepo Omo Igbomina include: Pastor Olalekan Osundina as President, from Osun State, Elder Gabriel Yemi Jimoh, Vice President, from Kwara State, Secretary, is Chief Layi Ogundele from Kwara.
