The Synagogue Church Of All Nations SCOAN, will on Sunday, December 5, 2021 begin live services at its Ikotun-Egbe headquarters, 21 months after it was closed.
The church made this disclosure on Friday, stating that life would begin to beam again at the Synagogue from Sunday as its gate would be open for its global members who had all been yearning for the church to begin the usual live service programmes.
Recall that the late Prophet T. B. Joshua, the Founder and General Overseer of the Ministry had, in March 2020, suspended the regular Sunday Services following the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, which caused global disruptions in the health and the economy.
Until he passed on June 5 this year, the church had remained under lock unlike other churches which had commenced services since last year, saying he had yet to hear from God on church reopening, adding that “we will only reopen when we receive an instruction to do so from God.”
The church further stated that: “There has been a lot of pressure from members globally for the church to resume services after the passing of the great man of God but the church’s new leadership under Prophetess Mrs Evelyn TB Joshua maintained the position of her late husband that “the reopening of the church for normal Sunday services will only commence with the intimation of the holy spirit” and that is what is now taking place.
Besides, the mourning period of the God’s General would have been over.
“The SCOAN has had its own fair shares of the usual leadership and succession tussles in human affairs, an avoidable situation especially in The SCOAN but for the misguided few disciples all of whom have now retraced their wrong steps.”
