16 of the 24members that make up the House voted to remove him.
Deputy Speaker, Siddi Buba, representing Kwami West constituency, presided over the sitting at which he was removed.
The House immediately elected a new Speaker, Abubakar Muhammad Luggerewol, representing Akko Central constituency.
15 members of the Assembly voted to elected him as the beat speaker and has since been sworn in.
Also, the leader of the House, Samuel Marcus representing Pero-Chonge, has also been removed and replaced with Yarima Ladan Gaule of Kaltungo East constituency.
