Thank you for reading this post, don’t forget to subscribe!Soludo revealed that a running mate of a prominent party’s governorship candidate has been presenting a fraudulent doctoral degree, warning that such actions mislead young people into believing that academic qualifications can simply be purchased.

Although he did not name the individual, the governor stressed the need to restore integrity across all sectors, similar to his campaign against fraudulent native doctors who exploit citizens with empty promises of wealth.

He explained that during the submission of forms to the electoral body, the individual in question falsely claimed to hold advanced academic qualifications without completing the requisite educational milestones.

Investigations into the degree reportedly revealed that it was issued by an unaccredited institution abroad and lacks recognition from the relevant academic authorities in Nigeria.

“What it means is that (s)he does not have a diploma, a degree or a masters degree, but jumped to present a PhD, that is wrong. Some people have taken it upon themselves to find out where the PhD was gotten and it turned out to be fake. It is from a fake institution, those kind of institution where if you pay, you get it. Some charge even 60 dollars and they give it to you,” he said.

Soludo emphasized that a simple acknowledgment of the actual educational level, supported by official documentation, would have been acceptable.

The governor vowed that once the election concludes, his administration will target certificate forgers to protect the credibility of education and prevent deception of younger generations.

He underscored that children need to see the value of genuine hard work and legitimate academic achievement, rather than being misled by fraudulent credentials.

Soludo also reiterated that his administration remains committed to comprehensive reforms in the state, aiming to strengthen moral standards and institutional accountability.

He affirmed that efforts to cleanse Anambra of corruption and unethical practices will continue, emphasizing that no challenge is too great to confront in pursuit of justice and societal integrity.
