Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has condemned in the attack on Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah’s convoy, Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial Zone by yet-to-be identified gunmen.
The attack happened in the evening of Sunday, September 11, 2022 on Enugwu-Ukwu road in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
According to media reports, Ubah narrowly escaped bullets of the gunmen who attacked his convoy.
While condemning the attack, Governor Soludo said government was fully determined to wipe out every act of criminality in the State.
He said that “this is the last ditch effort of a sinking boat” by these criminal elements
He reassured the people that all security agencies were now on full alert to fish out the perpetrators of this heinous attack, who would be made to face the full wrath of the law
The Governor commiserated with Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and families of his aides who lost their lives as well as the State Commissioner of Police, for the Policemen who also lost their lives.
