So-Safe arrests four suspected thieves in Ogun

Men of the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps), have arrested four men suspected of stealing from a residential apartment in Ado Ota LGA .

The spokesperson of the corps, Moruf Yusuf, who disclosed this, explained that on March 22, 2024, officers of the corps in Ado Ota LGA received a distress call requesting their assistance and that they swiftly responded and apprehended four suspected members of a robbery syndicate.

He said the suspects, Mubarak Sheu, Usman Umar, Naura Abubakar and Aba Rabiu, were caught at Block F, Plot 13, Future Expansion, OPIC Estate, Agbara, while stealing conduit wires, cables and sockets.

He said: “This incident marked not their first attack on the said address. The following exhibits were recovered from them: conduit wires, cables and sockets worth over N5m,” adding that the suspects and the exhibits had been handed over to the police.
