▪︎Describes him as a true custodian of Yoruba heritage

Senator Adelere Oriolowo, representing Osun West Senatorial District, has congratulated a revered monarch, Ogiyan of Ejigboland in Osun State, Oba Omowonuola Oyeyode (Oyesosin 11) on the double celebrations of his 86th birthday and 47 years on the throne.
According to a congratulatory message issued and made available to newsmen by Senator Oriolowo’s Media aide, ‘Niyi Isamotu’ on Saturday, the Senator described the monarch as a true custodian of Yoruba heritage and a peacemaker whose reign has attracted development to the ancient City of Ejigbo
Senator Oriolowo took the opportunity of the occasion of the celebration to assure the monarch and the people of Ejigbo that he would fulfil all promises made to the community.
“By God’s grace, all promises made during my campaign to the people of Ejigbo will be fulfilled
“I’m making frantic efforts to address the epileptic power supply of the community and adjoining town and this informed the reason I donated a sum of One Million naira(#1,000,000) to the leaders of Ejigbo Development Council in support of the electrification project of the community” the Senator said.
While congratulating the monarch, Senator Oriolowo said the Ejigbo-Iwo road reconstruction earlier started by him would be completed as the contractor would be mobilized back to site after the necessary process had been completed.
“Onbehalf of the good people of Osun-west Senatorial district, my family especially my wife who was once your student, I congratulate and celebrate with you, Kabiesi. I pray God to grant you more years of fruitful and peaceful reign on the throne.”
In the meantime, Senator Oriolowo has also congratulated an illustrious son of Ejigbo land, Senator Mudashir Hussein, on his installation as the Balogun of Ejigbo land.
He said the conferment of the chieftaincy title was because of his immeasurable contribution to the development of Ejigbo.
He prayed the Lord to continue to guide him and support him as he moves up the ladder in life.
