Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye, who represented Ogun East in the National Assembly from 1999 to 2003, is dead.
He was a member of the Alliance for Democracy (AD).
Aged 88, he reportedly died from COVID-19 complications.
The late Senator Durojaiye was a pro-democracy activist and a member of the defunct National Democratic Coalition (NADECO).

He was also a former Chairman of Nigerians Communications Commission (NCC).
