Former Senate Leader, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, has lost his wife, Amaka, in a fatal auto crash.
Reports said the accident occurred on Ondo-Ore-Benin expressway in the morning of Friday.
Two others also died in the accident, namely Mrs Nnena Ukachukwu and another person.
The Senator broke the sad news to his friend and publisher of Persecondnews, Femi Soneye, on Friday morning via telephone.
He was quoted to have said: “Woke up to sad news of a fatal accident around Ondo. Amaka Ndoma Egba, Mrs Nnena Ukachukwu and another person (dead)”
According a news report of the development by the publication, “They were on their way to Ilaje in Ondo state for the burial of Olusola Oke’s mother when a trailer hit their vehicle.”
In a condolence message to the senator, Soneye said:” Sad, sad morning. We pray to the Almighty for strength and solace to the families and all friends and associates. Dust to Dust. It is well.”
