Senator Abba Patrick Moro, has expressed shock at the gruesome murder of Chief (Dr) Terkura Suswam Tingir on Tuesday evening.
Chief Tingir, the Zege Iwanger U Tiv and the elder brother of Senator Gabriel Suswam was murdered by unknown gunmen in Anyiin, the headquarters of Logo Local Government Area of Benue State.
Senator Moro condemned the killing in its entirety and charged security operatives to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the perpetrators of the heinous crime are brought to book.
The Senator extended his heartfelt and deepest sympathy to the Tingir family, Senator Gabriel Suswam and the entire Tiv nation over this painful loss.
He prayed God to grant the soul of Chief Tingir eternal rest.
