The Senate has announced Senator Friday Kombowei as chairman of its newly constituted committee on South-South Development Commission.
The announcement was made during its Wednesday plenary session by President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio.
Before now, Senator Kombowei, was a member of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.
He was also Secretary to the State Government, a position he held before his election to the 10th Senate.
