The Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Lawmaker representing the Taraba South Senatorial District at the upper chamber was officially received into the party by President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.
Governor Mai Mala Buni, Chairman of Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), led Bwacha to President Muhammadu Buhari who received the senator to the ruling party
Personal Assistant to President Buhari on Digital and New Media made this known in a tweet on his official Twitter handle.
Bwacha, who is 59 years old, attended University of Calabar where he studied Public administration.
He is a three-term senator representing Taraba South.
He was the commissioner for Agriculture in his home state of Taraba between 1999 – 2003.
He represented his Donga Constituency inn the House of Representatives from 2003-2007.
