The Senate has confirmed Barrister Henry Idahagbon as a Commissioner of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).

A former Edo South senator, Ehigie Uzamere, said the confirmation marked a significant victory for justice, unity, and the Benin people.

“The Senate, at its sitting today, considered and duly confirmed Barrister Henry Idahagbon as a Commissioner of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).

“While I heartily congratulate Barrister Henry Idahagbon on this well-deserved confirmation, I must also specially commend Senator Ned Imasuen for the commendable role he played in correcting and reversing the earlier erroneous impression that was created within the Senate.

“His intervention demonstrated courage, fairness, and a deep commitment to justice and due process.

“I also wish to sincerely appreciate all former Senators who have represented Edo South Senatorial District since 1999.
