Frontline Governorship contender in Taraba state, Senator Anthony George Manzo has purchased the expression of interest and nomination forms for the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the 2023 Governorship seat.
Sen Manzo purchased the forms at the APC national secretariat in Abuja on Friday.
Displaying the forms before newsmen, Senator Manzo said he was adequately prepared to transform Taraba to an enviable height for the benefit of the citizenry if given the mandate .
He said the state was endowed with largely untapped abundant natural resources that needed to be harnessed for the economic transformation of the state.
Sen Manzo stated: “I have along with my team of development experts designed an economic blue print that we shall implement to transform the economic and make the state among the fifth viable states in the country.”
He said he craved for fairness, equity and justice in the forthcoming party primary election and the subsequent elections in the state and the country at large.
In the forthcoming election in Taraba state, Senator Manzo pointed out that ”the odds favour me whether in terms of academic or professional qualifications, experience or even on the issue of zoning or rotation of plum political positions in the state.”
