A top governorship contender for Taraba state 2023, Senator Anthony Manzo, has assured that despite the current socio economic and political challenges facing the nation, there is hope for the people.
Manzo, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, said all that is needed is for the people to put on their thinking caps and take the wise decision to elect credible and purposeful leaders into various offices in 2023.
In his goodwill message to the people of Taraba state to mark this year’s Easter celebration, Senator Manzo urged citizens not to despair “because there will be light at the end of the tunnel.”
He said he has a robust economic blue print that will open the economic potentials of the state and make it among the top five economically viable states in the country within two years if given the mandate.
According to Manzo, “I have a comprehensive blue print that would facilitate industrialization and tap the untapped resources of our state. I will create the enabling environment for businesses to thrive. There will be gainful employments and uninterrupted social services.”
He added that there will be affordable and accessible health and educational facilities, adding “nobody will be denied access to health or education in Taraba state on account of inability to pay.
“I’m prepared for the transformation of our state to an enviable height and every one will be proud.”

Acting CG FFS urges Nigeria to prioritize safety during Easter,
The Acting Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, Dr. Samson Karebo, has called on Nigerians to prioritize safety during the ongoing Easter celebration.
The acting CGF made the call while wishing christians a peaceful Easter, which is a celebration in commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
He tasked them to ensure diligent safety precautions while celebrating.
Karebo, while acknowledging that there will be a lot of cooking related activities during the Easter celebration, asked that all cooking precautionary measures such as not leaving cooking unattended, keeping matches away from children, keeping the gas cylinder outside the kitchen, among others must be complied with to avoid fire incidences.
