He stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to the NTDC Director General, Mr Folorunso Coker, in Abuja.
Awolowo said that his organisation would take advantage of the unique opportunity provided by NTDC to reach out to major tourism stakeholders in Africa and the world in marketing made-in-Nigeria goods.
“This collaboration will provide us with the opportunity to further market Nigeria as a must-visit in the world,” he stated.
Mr Coker shared Awolowo’s position, stressing the need for joint efforts to boost tourism through export promotion of made-in- Nigeria goods.
He said that the visit was necessitated by the need for all stakeholders to collaborate with the Federal Government to effectively tap into tourism potential across the nation.
