Schimchi Football Academy will be featuring in football competitions in Ghana and Cote D’voire, its Chairman, Olugbenga Adetona has disclosed.
The Academy, which at the weekend won a-four team tournament organised by FOJEIS at Gbagada Mini Stadium, Lagos State, according to the Chairman was destined for the top.
He said preparation were already on to make the Academy one of the nation’s most vibrant football academies and producer of top football talents.

Adetona, popularly called Skimmer by football enthusiasts, said the victory at the tournament was pointer to greater things ahead and an indication that the Academy was headed for the next level.
In his congratulatory message, Adetona said: “The victory wouldn’t have been possible without the unity, cohesion and passion of players of the team and backroom coordination of David Ighodaro, Osobe Oluwakayode and Samson Bamisebi.”
He expressed optimism in the next phase of the team’s development, disclosing that preparatory matches would commence in the coming weeks in readiness for the Ghana competition slated for next April and another tournament in Abidjan, Cote D’voire in May.
He said people should be on the look out for more brilliant performances from Schimchi FA.
