Member representing Okene /Ogori -Magongo federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Federal Capital Territory FCT, Alhaji Ahmed Tijani-Damisa, has urged Nigerians to sustain prayers observed during the Ramadan period even after Ramadan, in view of the critical situation the country is passing through.
Tijani-Damisa made this disclosure in his Sallah message to his Constituents, Kogi state and Nigerians at large.
According to Damisa it was only prayers that had seen Nigeria and Nigerians through the most difficult situations.
He therefore stressed the need to sustain the tempo of intercession.
He expressed confidence that the country would weather the storm with collective responsibility, concerted efforts and cooperation with the constituted authorities.
The federal Lawmaker congratulated Moslem brothers and sisters on witnessing this year’s occassion, praying for more years in celebration.
