Barrister Morayo Lebi has congratulated Muslim faithful, particularly those in Ondo State, on the completion of the Ramadan fast.
He urged them to continue in the spirit of penitence and remain close to Allah for the betterment of the society.
The All Progressives Congress(APC) chieftain urged all Muslims in the country to continue to pray for peace and strive to love their neighbours irrespective of religious beliefs.
Speaking on the importance of Ramadan, the APC candidate for Ondo South Senatorial District in 2015 explained that it afforded the Muslim faithful to pray for socio-economic development of the nation by praying for people at the helm of affairs of the nation for God’s guidance.
He noted that if the nation’s leadership were God-fearing in its dealings, there would be appreciative development in all sectors of the economy.
The legal luminary appealed to Muslim faithful in Ondo State to continue to pray for the state and its leadership for sustenance of peace and harmony in the state.
Barrister Lebi, therefore, charged the Muslim faithful to celebrate the Sallah moderately, urging the youth to avoid whatever social engagements that could lead to crime.
