The people of Ward 11 in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State have reaffirmed their support for all candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming National and State Assembly elections.
The stakeholders made the declaration during a sensitisation tour of communities in the ward to strengthen the party’s support base and foster unity ahead of the polls.

The tour was also used to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu, Fedelix Agbeki, Bernard Kenebai and Sinkumo Abraham Ekisah in their respective elections.
They thanked loyal members for their resilience and dedication despite political challenges and welcomed defectors from the Nigeria Democratic Congress who joined the APC during the visit.
APC leaders at the event commended supporters for their sacrifices and assured them that their commitment would not go unnoticed.
They stressed the need for unity, focus and dedication to the party’s ideals, describing unity as key to electoral success and sustainable growth.
The stakeholders urged supporters to intensify mobilisation, citing the party’s commitment to quality leadership and development.
Several members of the Peoples Democratic Party, NDC and other parties defected to the APC, attributing their decision to the party’s growing popularity and Governor Douye Diri’s inclusive leadership style.
The defectors pledged loyalty and commitment to the APC’s growth. In response, the stakeholders assured the new members of equal opportunities and encouraged them to participate actively in party activities.
The sensitisation tour ended with a renewed commitment to grassroots mobilisation, internal cohesion and building a strong political structure for future electoral victories.
Those who took part in the tour included Ebi Mounkurai, Victor Omgbou, Okumbiri Timipere, Tobi Ebikidimie, Akuna Ebi, Ken Okosikeme, Newyear Okoringa, Tariladei Jack and John Dagana, among others.
