President of Fugar America Foundation, Dennis Abuda, has been killed by his abductors.
Abuda was an Atlanta, US-based Realtor.
He was abducted on Saturday along Benin-Auchi highway in Edo State.
He was abducted alongside three other colleagues on their way to Lagos to board a flight to the United States.
The kidnappers were said to have demanded N10 million ransom.
On Tuesday, ransom was paid, leading to the release of three victims, without Abuda.
His released colleagues said he was earlier killed after he first fainted due to the trauma of the abduction.
They stated that they heard a gunshot as they were being marched away by their abductors.
The bullet from that shot, they said, must have been the one that killed him.
The family reportedly recovered his body from the bush on Wednesday.
