Revealed: See prominent Boko Haram commander who voluntarily surrenders after leading attacks

Finally the Military have revealed the identity of a prominent Boko Haram commander, who voluntarily surrendered after leading several attacks.

He is Malam Adamu Yahaya AKA Saad Karami. He led the last attack on troops in Baga town and equally participated in attacks on Metele, Mairari, Bindiram, Kangarwa and Shetimari (Niger Republic)

Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Defence Headquarters, Major-General John Enenche, said Malam Adamu Yahaya voluntarily surrendered to troops of 242 Battalion in Monguno, Borno State.
He said this was as a result of the aggressive posture of the troops and artillery bombardments of terrorists’ suspected locations around the general area.
