Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has congratulated the wife of the Osun State Governor, Mrs Titilola Adeleke, on her 60th birthday.
In a message shared on her official X page on Tuesday, Senator Tinubu praised Mrs Adeleke for her contributions to community development and her role in improving the welfare of residents through the Renewed Hope Initiative.

“I join your husband, the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Adeleke, your children, family, friends and loved ones to celebrate you as you mark this milestone of 60 years,” the First Lady wrote.
She described Mrs Adeleke’s work with the Renewed Hope Initiative in Osun as “impactful and transformative,” noting that her efforts continue to touch lives across the state. Tinubu also prayed for long life, peace and happiness for the celebrant.
Mrs Adeleke, born on December 9, 1965, serves as the State Coordinator of the initiative.
She is noted for her advocacy for women empowerment, youth development and other social welfare programmes in Osun.

However, her birthday message came barely 24 hours after Senator Tinubu and Governor Adeleke trended online over a viral video from a public event in Osun last weekend.
In the clip, the First Lady was seen asking the governor to round up his remarks, telling him he had only five minutes left and warning she would turn off his microphone if he continued.
