Radda mourns chief of staff’s wife, describes loss as painful shock

Gov. Dikko Radda of Katsina, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hajiya Hauwa, the wife of his Chief of Staff, Abdulkadir Mamman-Nasir, who passed away Wednesday in Kano, after a brief illness.

The governor’s condolence message was announced in a statement issued in Katsina on Wednesday, by Mr Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed, his Chief Press Secretary (CPS).

The governor further described the deceased as a woman of remarkable humility, strong moral values, and admirable interpersonal relationships.

He noted that she commanded widespread respect among family members, friends, and all who came in contact with her.

The governor said her death was not only a painful loss to her husband and immediate family but also to the wider circle of relatives, friends, and associates.

He added that her passing has created a deep vacuum that would be difficult to fill.

“Her passing is a great shock and a painful loss to us all. We pray to Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her eternal rest,” the governor said.

Radda extended his heartfelt condolences to Mamman-Nasir, the bereaved family, and all those affected by the loss, praying for strength, patience, and fortitude to bear the loss.

He also prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased, expand her grave, and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus.
