The family of the late Ijaw leader and former Federal Commissioner for Information, Chief E K Clark -Titan of the Niger Delta- received recently appointed Chairman of the NYSC, Ntufam Hilliard Eta and the Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Dr Samuel Ogbuku, at their Asokoro residence.

In what was almost like a planned visit, both leaders jointly re-echoed the sterling leadership qualities of the late sage, taking turns to recount the many impactful interventions and declarations of the fallen hero.
Speaking at the visit, the MD NDDC regaled the audience with a history of the various ways Papa Clark delivered the nation from turmoil by upholding peace in the Niger Delta.
He prayed God to enable the family to preserve the legacies whilst enjoining all Niger Deltans to pick up the baton and pursue the vision relentlessly
Ntufam Hilliard Eta, in his remarks, noted the innumerable times “the Cicero” identified and recommended youth into various leadership positions.
He prayed that heaven would release such grace on many more leaders of the region to see the need to build capacity beyond just their communities but consider impacting the region and nation in the manner Sir Edwin Clark did.
Both NDDC and NYSC leaders underscored the impact of the various development policies of President Bola Tinubu as they stand to benefit the youth, women and elders, urging them to keep fate with the Renewed Hope Agenda as the various reforms are beginning to bear fruits.
