Immediate past Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has commiserated with a member of the House of Representatives from Edo State, Honourable Anamero Sunday Dekeri, on the passing of his father, Pa Sunday Dekeri.
Agba, in a letter of commiseration, dated September 7, 2023, condoled with Anamero and the Dekeri family, on their father’s passing, noting that with his death, a vacuum had been created, which Anamero and his siblings should fill by taking on a fatherly role that their late father was wont to doing.
The letter reads: “I write to commiserate with you on the passing of your beloved father, Pa Sunday Dekeri, on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
“I was heavy-hearted when I received the news, knowing full well what it means to lose a father. It is certainly heartbreaking to lose a loved one, particularly a parent.
“But be consoled that he lived a good life and that he has gone home to have an eternal rest with the Almighty God, his Creator.
“With your father’s death, a vacuum has, without a doubt, been created in the Dekeri family and the responsibility is on you and your siblings to work in harmony to play a fatherly role in the family.
“While I sympathise with you and your entire family, I pray that the Almighty God will give you comfort and the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“I pray that the gentle soul of your father would rest peacefully in the bosom of his Creator.”
