It is with great sadness that the Tinubu Mandate Group (TMG) received the news of the passing of Lady Evangelist Abosede Grace Akeredolu, mother of Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN.
On behalf of our principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, all members of the Tinubu Mandate Group, and I send our deepest condolences to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s family and the people of Owo and, indeed, Ondo State at this difficult time.
We all mourn with you because no one wants to lose their loved ones; we will also like to celebrate the extraordinary life of this remarkable woman who devoted her life to peacefully protect and raise all her children as a single parent after she lost her loving husband at an early stage of her marriage.
Though, we have lost a key pillar in the Akeredolu’s clan of Owo but the seeds she sowed will live forever.
Her passing is a loss for our great party and the state, in particular, as we prepare for next year’s crucial presidential election in which our principal Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is our party’s candidate.
We will sorely miss the Matriarch of the Akeredolu family but the people of Owo Kingdom and Igbotu in Ese-Odo LG, Ondo State will miss you most for your good deeds. God bless your soul.
The passing of Madam Grace Akeredolu is a great loss to her family, her extended family including Owo Kingdom, and to the Sunshine State she cared so much about.
We have lost an extraordinary servant of God who showed the care of a loving mother with great determination to get the best for all her children.
But two words sum her up for me: passion and energy- traits she showed in all she did. Rest In Peace.
