A presidency official disclosed that Tinubu has moved into the Villa.

The President’s decision was largely hinged on public complaints over the traffic congestion resulting from road closures and restrictions anytime he was moving from his temporary abode to the State House.

The President, as learnt, moved to Aso Rock in Abuja on Sunday, July 30.

The official residence has been under renovation since April, which led to the president operating from his private residence in Asokoro since his inauguration.

Recall that before President Muhammadu Buhari left office, he and his family moved to the Glass House, usually a transit accommodation, following the renovation of the main residence.

But according to TheCable, President Tinubu moved to the Glass House on Sunday night, pending the completion of the renovation of the president’s official residence in August.

A presidency official told the news platform that Tinubu moved into the Villa because of public complaints over the traffic congestion as a result of road closures and restrictions.

The source said: “He finally moved on Sunday night because of public complaints over the traffic congestion around his movements.

“He too was unhappy with the discomfort to the public but the official residence is still not ready, so he decided to move to the Glass House.”
