President Bola Tinubu is meeting with the newly appointed administrator of Rivers state, Ibokette Ibas, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Ibas, a former chief of naval staff, arrived at the Presidential Villa about 1 p.m. for the meeting on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
The meeting, ostensibly to brief Ibas on his assignment in Rivers State, came less than 24 hours after Tinubu imposed emergency rule in the oil-rich State.
