President Buhari proves skeptics wrong, agrees to address House of Reps on insecurity in Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday expresed his acceptance of invitation by the House of Representatives to address it in plenary on the insecurity plaguing the nation.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila said that a date had been agreed on and that it would be communicated soon.

The House had extended invitation to Buhari consequent upon a motion moved at Tuesday plenary by members from Borno State.

The motion itself was sequel to the last Saturday’s gruesome slaughter of no fewer than 43 rice farmers by Boko Haram terrorists.
