Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, will be banned from the touchline for Saturday’s trip to Aston Villa in the Premier League.

Arteta was booked for his celebrations when Declan Rice scored a dramatic 97th-minute winner in Arsenal’s 4-3 win at Luton on Tuesday night.

It was the Gunners manager’s fourth yellow card of the season, which resulted in a touchline ban.

Arsenal visit Aston Villa, on a run of 12 consecutive home victories, on Saturday, December 9.

Arsenal defender, Takehiro Tomiyasu, is also going to be “out for a while” after a scan revealed a serious calf injury.

The Japan defender came off injured in Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Wolves last Saturday and missed the 4-3 win at Luton on Tuesday night.

After the game at Kenilworth Road, Arteta said in his press conference: “We had a scan, and it’s not good news.

“He’s got an injury in his calf, and he’s going to be out for a while.”

Rice scored a late goal to break Luton’s hearts and send Arsenal five points clear at the top of the Premier League after a 4-3 victory for the Gunners at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday.
