Jeremiah Omoto-Fufeyin, the founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, has stirred reactions online after presenting what he called a “spiritual ATM card” to his congregation.
A clip from the service, which surfaced on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Wednesday, shows the Delta-based preacher holding up the card while explaining its purpose. He made it clear that, unlike a regular bank card, this item functions on a spiritual level.
“This spiritual ATM card isn’t like the physical one. It won’t work the same way. You can’t insert it into a machine—it’s not designed for that,” he said while addressing his church.
He further explained that the card must be used during a specific prayer routine involving midnight sessions over several days.
He warned that improper handling could cause it to mysteriously vanish.
“Use it exactly as directed. Pray with it for seven days—some prayers must be done at midnight. If you don’t store it properly, it may disappear. It’s a spiritual master’s card,” he added.
Prophet Jeremiah assured the congregation that the item is meant to bring divine favor, adding, “It will attract helpers and bring good news your way.”
The video has since attracted mixed responses, with some social media users expressing scepticism and others viewing the act as a faith-driven symbol meant to inspire hope. [Prompt News]
