Popular Nigerian music producer, Ayorinde Faboro, popularly known as Dr Frabz is dead.
He was reportedly shot dead. Details of how it happened had yet to be provided as of press time.
The demise of the talented music producer was broken by his colleagues, Samklef and Nikki Laoye.
In a tweet by singer Nikki Laoye, she said that the music producer was shot.
She wrote, “Oh my God persevering face… My dear brother, Dr Frabz @DoktaFrabz… This is such terrible news. Just heard that he was shot… Who did this? I am so pained right now. What kind of news is this ehn?”
Samklef also took to his social media page to pay tributes to Dr Frabz.
He wrote, “Rip legend! Ayo (dr Frabz). We spoke 2 weeks ago. U asked how is Houston treating me? I came to Maryland yesterday (Saturday) only for me to hear that u are no more today. What a sad day! A brother is gone! another producer is gone! RIP!”
Dr Frabz,Ayorinde Faboro started music at the age of six when he began playing the piano.
He started music as a profession in 2006 with the moniker: “Dr Frabz”, a shortened form of Doctor of Flavour, Rhythm and Blues.
Frabz had, in his music career as a producer, worked with several music stars such as Naeto C, Davido, Dagrin, YQ, Shank, Omawumi and others.
