The wife of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, Oluwaseun, has returned to the state over a year after her husband emerged as governor.

Oluwaseun, who left the state dued to alleged frosty relationship, returned to the state after months amid speculations.

Her return followed reported appeals by concerned relations and friends to her to return to her husband.

Aiyedatiwa’s wife was said to have made a dramatic return to the Government House on Saturday during a ceremony by the governor’s niece, which held at the Government House Chapel.

Oluwaseun had allegedly left the state since Aiyedatiwa was the deputy governor due to allegations of a strained relationship.

Following the development, leaders in society had made spirited efforts to reconcile the couple, which was said to have yielded results with her appearance ahead of the February 24 inauguration of her husband.

According to reports, quoting sources, when the governor’s wife entered the chapel, everyone present applauded in joy.

The officiating priest at the chapel, upon sighting the First Lady, addressed her as Her Excellency, a remark that drew further applause from the congregation.
