The Nigeria Police Force has promoted DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi to the position of the Deputy Commissioner, Delta State Command.

The NPF confirmed Adejobi’s promotion on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

Adejobi, before his promotion, served as the Force Public Relations Officer.

The NPF said Adejobi’s posting was part of routine deployment of senior officers, adding that the former police spokesperson’s wealth of experience in public communication, operational management, and community policing positioned him for the new role.
