Police declare Orowale wanted for unlawful possession of firearms

The Zone 11 Command of the Osun State Police has issued a public statement declaring Orowole Adekunle Rotimi a wanted individual.

He is sought after for the unlawful possession of firearms and providing false information to the police.

CSP Benjamin Ayeni, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Zone 11, addressed the media on Thursday, providing details on the ongoing investigation.

He stated that Orowole Adekunle Rotimi, the main suspect in the case, had failed to appear and defend himself against the allegations.

Despite extensive efforts by the police to locate him, he has gone into hiding, hindering the progress of the case.

CSP Benjamin Ayeni emphasized, “The Nigeria Police Force, Zone XI Command, hereby informs the general(sic) public that Mr. Orowole Adekunle Rotimi, a Nigerian citizen from Ile-Ife in Osun State, has been declared wanted.”

Orowole Adekunle Rotimi is approximately 31 years old, has a fair complexion, stands at a height of 1.70 meters, possesses a pointed nose, is bald-headed, and occasionally wears a beard.

The statement further warned that individuals found harbouring the suspect would be treated as accomplices by the police.

” Additionally, anyone who provides useful information leading to his whereabouts will be generously rewarded with N200,000,” the Police Command promised.
