The Police Command in Ondo State says it is investigating the disapperance of a three-year-old boy, Adeola Olayemi, in Ode-Irele, Irele Local Government Area of the state.
DSP Abayomi Jimoh, the command’s Spokesperson, confirmed the incident, which occured on May 7, while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday on telephone.

According to him, two suspects have been arrested and are assisting detectives in unraveling the circumstances surrounding the child’s disappearance.
“Following the report, detectives have intensified efforts to rescue the child and unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident,” he said.
Abayomi appealed to members of the public to remain calm and provide useful information that could assist the ongoing investigations to unravel the incident.
NAN learnt that the boy was living with his 64-year-old grandmother in the area before he went missing.
