Police arrest suspected syndicate behind BVAS manipulation

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command has arrested a number of suspects who are believed to be involved in the alleged manipulation of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS).

According to a report by Arise News, the suspects were apprehended by the police in a sting operation on Ghandji street in the Maitama area of the FCT.

Arise TV reports that the police have taken the suspects into custody and are investigating the alleged illegal possession and suspected manipulation of the BVAS.

It was also reported that one of the suspects arrested is said to be the Vice President of a company known as Emperor Technology.

The report said the suspects were helping the police with their investigation.
