The suspect has admitted to committing the offence, and once the investigation is concluded, he will be arraigned.

SP Opalola recollected that Kehinde Adekusibe had posted a tweet on his social media account on May 18, 2023, where he made the following statement: “Let’s kill all the Igbos. Let’s forcefully remove them from Yoruba lands. I strongly despise these individuals. They are violent and the worst. They harbor hatred towards us, so let’s reciprocate without reservation.”

The police spokesperson further stated that the suspect has confessed to the crime and will face charges in court upon completion of the investigation.
