From earthly vessel to eternal radiance: The transition of Deaconess Grace Eyiboh

Like time, the integral womb of seasons that berths and swallows up seasons, Deaconess Grace Sunday Eyiboh has crossed the cosmic rift. She sure has seen her pilot face to face after her faith was sealed, as anchored on eternal rest. C.S. Lewis maintained, ‘You don’t have a soul. You are a soul. You have a body.’ Deaconess Eyiboh’s soul, now freed from its earthly vessel, shines brighter and reunited with her Maker.

Henry Scott Holland was quite in order, saying, ‘Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room.’ Mmaette has slipped into eternity, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and memories.

Millions are there who mourn in the morning; but this voyage comes in the season fulfilled.
As we begin the count down with the clock that ticks away
We set the minstrel in the rail and descend the valley deep
Where all our dirges sound in tremulous peak.

To call the processors for their rites.

The Triumph of Mmaette: A Tapestry of Love

Nine decades of life, a canvas so fine,
Woven with threads of love, devotion divine.
Deaconess Grace Sunday Eyiboh, a name so dear,
A soul that touched hearts, banished every fear.

With every stitch, a story unfolds,
Of kindness, compassion, and love that’s never old.
Her heart, a sanctuary of peace and care,
A haven for the hurting, the lost, and the bare.

Through sewing school doors, she empowered many,
Women’s lives transformed, futures bright and sunny.
Her entrepreneurial spirit, a beacon of light,
Guiding generations through life’s darkest night.

In community courts, her integrity shone,
Justice, reconciliation, and peace, her throne.
With gentle hands, she lifted the fallen,
And whispered hope to the hearts stolen.

Her faith, an anchor, steadfast and strong,
In turbulent waters, her soul sang songs.
Now freed from earthly bonds, her spirit soars,
Reunited with her Maker, forever adores.

Mmaette’s legacy lives, a masterpiece so grand,
Love, laughter, and memories, etched on every land.
Her time on earth, though brief, left marks,
A testament to love’s power, a shining spark.

We celebrate her life, a tapestry so fine,
Woven with every thread of love, devotion divine.
Deaconess Grace Sunday Eyiboh, a soul so rare,
Forever in our hearts, her lovely legacies we’ll share.

Rest in peace, not song remains
The light, illuminating life’s joys and pains.
Your love, a flame that burns, forever bright
Inspiring generations, to walk in your light.
