A Russian aeroplane skidded off a runway after making an emergency landing in Siberia, Reuters reports.
The ATRAN plane from Sabetta was landing at Novy Urengoy Airport when it overran the runway, spokesperson Vyacheslav Strod said.
The landing gear strut failed, Strod said.
Eight crew members and commercial cargo were on board.
