Pilgrims in Madina seek divine intervention to combat Boko Haram

Some pilgrims from Damboa Local Government Area, Borno State, on Sunday held a special prayer session at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina for divine intervention to aid security agencies combat the resurgence of Boko Haram in the state.

The Vice Chairman, Alhaji Gana Fugu told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) after the prayer session, in Madiba, the importance of divine intervention in resolving security issues in Borno and the country in general.

The session, attended by over 20 pilgrims sought Allah’s intervention for peace and stability in Nigeria.

Fugu added that another prayer session is planned in Makkah to pray for the country and its leaders, including Gov. Babagana Zulum of the state, seeking protection and guidance.

He urged Nigerian pilgrims to intensify prayers for the country’s peace and political stability.
