The Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom, Alhaji H. A. Momoh, Ikelebe III, on Saturday, January 29, 2022, conferred the customary title of the Oduma of Auchi Sacred Kingdom on the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba.
The ceremony which took place in the Palace of the Otaru held amid pomp and ceremony.
Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo attended the event, which ministers, legislators, members of the diplomatic Corps, heads of agencies and parastatals as well captains of Industry graced with their presence.
Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, Minister of Transportation, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Mr Sunday Dare, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr Festus Keyamo were in attendance.
Deputy Governor of Edo State, Hon Phillip Shaibu attended the event. He had ked tge state government delegation to receive Vice President Osinbajo at the football field of Edo State University, Iyamho where the presidential helicopter that brought him (VP) landed.
Former Edo State Governor and ex-national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and the Kauthar of Auchi Kingdom, Chief Abu Inu-Umoru who is also a bosom friend of the celebrator attended the event in Auchi.
Shortly after the conferment, all roads led
to the country home of Prince Agba for a grand reception.
