Pandemonium erupted on Thursday morning at the busy Ola-Iya junction in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State.
The chaos ensued when an official vehicle transporting prisoners to court collided head-on with a commercial bus, commonly known as a “Korope.”
A witness reported that the prison vehicle was travelling at a high speed and failed to take necessary precautions at the junction.
As a result of the collision, several passengers on the commercial bus sustained serious injuries.
