Son of a former President of the Senate, the late Dr Chuba Okadigbo, Pharaoh, is dead.

Sources close to the family confirmed that he died from an auto crash on Saturday night.

His remains had since been deposited at the National Hospital morgue in Abuja.

A very reliable family friend confirmed to The CONCLAVE that he was just leaving the National Hospital morgue where his remains had been deposited.

He described the fatal accident as “painful indeed.”

It was learnt that he rammed nto into a heavy duty vehicle with his white Toyota Camry close to Gwarinpa Estate.

He was said to have died instantly from the crash, which turned the car into complete wreck.

A graduate of the  University of Nigeria, Nsukka, he died in his 40s and left behind to mourn him his wife and children.

President Muhammadu Buhari, who ran the 2003 presidential election on the platform of the APP with Pharaoh ‘s father, the late Chuba Okadigbo, has condoled with the family of the former Senate President.
President Buhari said it was very sad to lose such a promising young man with so much potential and passion for youth involvement in the socio-political development of Nigeria.
Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, said in a statement that Buhari noted that the late Pharoah at an early age keyed into the vision of a better Nigeria not just for the privileged but for all and sundry, which he (the President) shared with the late Chuba, who was his running mate in the 2003 presidential election.

President Buhari said that the nation would miss a firm believer in the necessity for the people to work in collaboration with governments at all levels to achieve the better society we all wish for.

He prayed that God Almighty would comfort family, friends and associates, and repose the soul of the departed.
