Peter Obi meets Bishop Oyedepo in Ota

Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate on the platform of the Labour Party, has paid a visit to the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo at the Canaanland headquarters of the church in Ota, Ogun State.

According to Church Gist, the former governor visited the cleric, on Tuesday, 19th of July, which happened to be his birthday.

One of the pastors of the church, (Leke Beecroft) shared a photo of the Labour Party presidential candidate and cleric pictured together on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

Although the details of the visit have yet to be known, there are speculations that it may be connected to Peter Obi’s political aspirations ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Church Gist, however, reported that the visit was for “priestly and birthday blessings.”

Recall that Bishop David Oyedepo has been a strong critic of the ruling All Progressive Congress government of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He had also described the current administration as being corrupt and wicked.
