Ten people abducted from Danjanku Village in Malumfashi Local Government Area have regained their freedom after a peace accord brokered between local communities and bandit groups.

The discussion, held on December 26 around 11:00 a.m. in Yantumaki Village, Danmusa Local Government Area, took place under the Operation Safe Corridor initiative.

According to sources, the meeting brought together the Chairman of Malumfashi LGA, traditional rulers, and bandit leaders identified as Munore, Wada Yellow, and Yalmi. Talks centered on restoring peace, ending hostilities, promoting mutual respect, and guaranteeing safe movement for residents.
