The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rose from its meeting today, Tuesday, April 29th, 2025 adopting the recommendation of the PDP Governors that the Deputy National Secretary of the Party, Arch. Setonji Koshoedo should act as the National Secretary of the Party until further notice.
The position of the NWC was disclosed to journalists by the Acting National Chairman of the Party, Amb. Umar Iliya Damagun at the end of the NWC meeting in Abuja.
Damagun, in a short press briefing, stated that the NWC adopted the recommendation of the PDP Governors on the issue of the Party’s National Secretary, adding that it would be forwarded to the National Executive Committee (NEC)
He also stated that the NEC meeting had been scheduled to hold on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in line with the recommendation of the Governors’ Forum.
